So many memories to be had, yet so little time. The term fashionally late is one that never stuck with me. One of my first college jobs was working at Victoria’s Secret where I would frequently show up late (only by about 10-15 minutes). Other than that, I was a good employee but I could never seem to manage my time correctly. It wasn’t until one of my managers pulled me to the side and explained the real importance of being punctual. Being punctual is a sign of professionalism, reliability, and establishing yourself as a dependable employee (and human being). I realized when I didn’t show up on time to important things, it came off to others that they were not a priority (even though this wasn’t the case). After that conversation I vowded to be better with time.
There are many things you can do to help you be on time. One thing that benefited me the most was wearing a watch. Yes I always have my phone, but I am usually doing a million others thing on it and not actually checking for the time. Wearing a watch allows me to check the time at any moment of the day and also helps me to not get distractd by Instagram and text messages. As a college graduate and now a working woman, I don’t know how I truly got by with out a watch. Because fashion has always been a close thing to my heart, finding a watch that fits my style is crucial.
I actually own several different brands of watches but one of my new favorites is Jord Watches. One thing that stood out about this brand was the quality and designs. I am a firm believer in “you get what you pay for.” This brand believes in sustainability so their watches use a lot of reclaimed materials combined with modern elements. (My favorite part about my watch is the marble detail and versatility of the bands). I have always had a little bit of a chunker wrist so finding feminine watches to fit can be tricky. JORD even gives you the option to personalize the sizing of your watch as well as engraving. You can truly customize a one of a kind watch, thus making it the perfect gift for a loved one
[or a special treat for your self 😉 ]!
“The value of a watch is not in being able to tell how much time has passed, but in being aware of the need to make that time count. Moments are bigger than minutes and your watch should tell more than time.” – JORD
