Happy Saturday Everyone!
Paris and I went on another little adventure and came across abandoned Mardi Gras Floats near some train tracks.  It was freezing but we had our beanies to keep our heads warm. With that said, today’s blog post is all about beanies.  Beanies have become a popular accessory,  yet a lot of people still struggle on how to style these type of hats.  There are many types of beanies, so just choose a color that best suits you.  If you are more girly try one with embellishments. Keep in mind that a hat is an accessory so make sure to not over accessorize! Decide whether you want the hat to be the focus or another part of your outfit.

~I decided to style Paris in a light blue beanie(this is the focus of her outfit).  I wanted to create a more casual look and by adding the pop of light blue it takes her outfit from simple to stylish.  Her outfit would look great with any type of boot but I recommend adding a boot with cool laces or details. This will give more texture to the outfit.  Lastly, add a leather jacket for night time to dress it up.
~ I chose to style my outfit a little more edgy/girly.  I went with just a plain black beanie because I wanted my knee-highs to be the focal point of my outfit.  Leather detailing is also very popular and instantly makes an outfit more edgy.  The green plaid in my shirt brings color to the outfit and the studs along with the leather shorts add texture and interest. When wearing knee highs I recommend a shorter shoe if you want that girly look, but tall boots work well too!

I want to see how you style your beanie!
